After two decades of cosmetic chemistry R&D for luxury European houses, Dr. Claire Laurent founded LUMÉ in 2018 with a radical idea: that luxury skincare should be both genuinely effective and completely clean. No trade-offs. No compromises.

Yes — all LUMÉ products are formulated without the most common irritants: synthetic fragrance, parabens, sulphates, and essential oils at sensitising concentrations. We have a dedicated Sensitive Skin range. Always patch test when trying new actives like Vitamin C or Retinol.
Most customers notice improved hydration within 72 hours. Visible improvements in radiance and texture typically appear within 2–4 weeks of consistent use. Clinical improvements in fine lines and pigmentation are typically measured at 8 weeks. Consistency is everything — skin renewal takes time.
Yes, but layer thoughtfully. Apply thinnest to thickest. Don't combine our Vitamin C serum with our Retinol/Bakuchiol serum in the same routine — use Vitamin C in the morning and Retinol/Bakuchiol at night. Our Hyaluronic Acid serum works beautifully with everything.
Our Bakuchiol products are specifically formulated as a pregnancy-safe alternative to retinol. We recommend avoiding our Vitamin A (Retinol) and high-strength Vitamin C serums during pregnancy. Always consult your doctor or midwife. A list of pregnancy-safe LUMÉ products is on our website.

All LUMÉ products are formulated and manufactured in our certified facility outside Paris, France. We do not use third-party contract manufacturers. Every batch is tested for quality, stability, and microbial safety before leaving our facility.
